This logo pays tribute to "The Grasshopper Tea Warehouse", Atkinson's original name back in 1837, when tea, our core product, was shipped by the chest-load up St. George's Quay, hence our slogan "The Grasshopper Only Eats The Finest of Leaves."
Not only are these T-shirts organic but they are PETA approved vegan, using no animal derived fabric and are made using 90% less CO2. This is achieved by a combination of efficiencies in manufacturing and transportation, low-impact organic farming and the use of renewable energy.
