These Green Ecoffee Cups are some of the most environmentally friendly re-usable cups out there. Each year over 300 billion single use cups are created and due to their plastic content, the vast majority of these will never be recycled. Switching to a re-useable cup is a great way to help tackle this problem.
Construction
Ecoffee cups are made with natural fibre (an upcycled byproduct previously burned by farmers), corn starch and plant based resin. Lids and sleeves are made from food grade silicone using oxygen and silica (sand) as a base material.
End of Life
Ecoffee cups are not biodegradable however they can be recycled for free with Ecoffee cups in collaboration with Terracycle. Find out more here
As part our of our sustainability goals to try and reduce the use of single use cups in our cafes we've introduced a couple of incentives. If you're local to one of our locations you'll get your first coffee for free when you buy an Ecoffee cup in store. After that you'll get 20p off the cost of your coffee each time you bring it back for a refill.
