The design of the Bialetti Moka Pot is practically unchanged since the original aluminium stove-top espresso pot, a style icon from the golden age of Art Deco design, back in the 1930s. All pressure valves are fitted with top quality stainless steel springs and ball bearings for safety and durability. Can be used to brew to an espresso style strength (though not espresso) or filter strength.
Brew Guide
1. Fill basket to the top with freshly ground coffee. If you like it a little stronger go finer than filter.
2. Pour water off the boil into the bottom chamber just below the valve.
3. Using a cloth to hold the bottom chamber, screw the top on and put on the hob.
4. Wait for coffee to percolate through and take off the heat before all the coffee starts turn "blond" to avoid over extraction.
