This Chilli Chocolate from Catalan bean to bar chocolate makers Simón Coll is ideal for those who like a slightly richer hot chocolate. Known as "a la taza", this bar makes a thick, creamy hot chocolate ideal for dunking your Churros or sweetbread is made with a touch of cornflour (suitable for coeliacs) and spicy kick of chilli and pepper. Each block is portioned into 25g pieces which they recommend dissolving in a pan of warm milk or hot water at a ratio of 1:2, 1:3 or 1:4 depending on your own personal preference.
Cocoa paste, Sugar, Cornstarch, Cocoa butter, Spices (Jamaica Pepper, Black Pepper, Cayenne Pepper), Emulsifier (SOYA Lecithin). Cocoa: 70% minimum.
