This Virunga Dark Chocolate from Chocolarder comes from the first ever female led cacao co-operative in the world. The Femmes de Virunga project educates and supports these women, enabling them to provide for and support their families. More than a quarter of a million cacao trees have been planted since the project started back in 2016 and there are now over 1500 women farmers in the cooperative.
Expect a light, brightness with notes of dried red fruits and peaty whisky.
